Costambar is the low-rise villa and condo community immediately west of Puerto Plata, behind its own entrance off the Carretera Luperón, with a small beach, a handful of restaurants and mostly rental homes rather than big resorts. The rate covers the whole community including the hillside streets above the beach. Because almost every booking here is a private house, the useful information is not the hotel name but the villa name, street and the caretaker or property manager's contact — the roads inside Costambar are unsigned in places and a driver who is guessing at night will lose you fifteen minutes.
Villas drop at the gate or the door where the road allows. Send the villa name and street when you book; the driver confirms with the property manager before arrival so nobody is left standing outside.
Keep your flight number and a reachable WhatsApp number with the request. If your itinerary changes, send the revised details before travel so the team can confirm the arrangements.
