Coming from POP the driver follows the Carretera Luperón west into the city, so the only variable is town traffic around the centre in the late afternoon. Anything west past the city limit — Costambar, Cofresí, Maimón — is priced as its own zone.
Hotels drop at the entrance. Several streets in the Victorian centre are one-way and narrow, so the driver uses the closest legal stop and walks the bags to the door.
