Ask the resort to confirm its current reception and boat instructions, including the Simi Báez meeting location for your reservation. Send that confirmation and your flight details to POP VIP for review of the mainland road transfer. A published regional fare does not establish a combined road-and-boat package.
Let the resort define the mainland endpoint
Use the reception and pier instructions attached to your actual accommodation reservation. Confirm the name, location and who should be contacted on approach, rather than asking a driver to infer a boat departure from the island's name. If another guest shares an old location screenshot, verify it with the resort. POP VIP can arrange only the mainland endpoint that has been clearly supplied and accepted for the transfer.
Match the road arrival with the boat arrangement
Tell the resort the flight itinerary and ask how it handles an arrival that reaches the mainland later than expected. Complete the POP arrival process before beginning the road journey; a landing time is not a pier arrival time. Ask dispatch to review the actual destination and transport requirements, then retain the confirmations from both providers so responsibilities remain clear at the handoff.
Prepare equipment for both forms of transport
Include luggage, strollers, requested child seats and access requirements when talking to POP VIP. Discuss boarding assistance and the boat's equipment allowance directly with the resort. Confirmation of space in a road vehicle does not establish safe access to a boat or storage on it. If a particular handoff cannot meet the group's needs, resolve that before travel rather than improvising at the pier.
Know who to contact when the itinerary changes
Send a replacement flight or airport to dispatch and the resort. Ask each provider to reconfirm the part it controls. A road-transfer booking does not guarantee a boat departure in changing weather or operating conditions. Do not continue toward an outdated meeting instruction simply because it remains in the original transport conversation; obtain the updated reception plan before relying on it.
Build the departure from the island outward
Ask the resort when the group and bags can reach the mainland for the flight home. Agree the POP VIP road collection using that confirmed handoff and the airline's airport-arrival requirements. The airport pickup allowance does not replace the island checkout and crossing arrangements. Keep both departure contacts accessible so a changed boat plan can be communicated before a driver is sent toward the wrong meeting time.
Confirm the scope before accepting the quote
Make the road pickup, mainland drop-off, passenger and luggage requirements explicit. Ask whether any additional stop is part of the agreed arrangement and keep the island service confirmation separate. Do not choose a convenient regional label in the form and assume it purchases the full island journey. A carefully reviewed request protects the private arrival experience better than a superficially complete estimate for an unconfirmed endpoint.
